meet 遇到(人): 第一次或有安排的見面

I met him yesterday. 我昨天遇到他了(有計畫的)

run into / bump into 偶然碰到某人

作遇見解釋時，一定是以人為對象

I ran into him yesterday. 我昨天遇到他了(偶然的)

come across 偶然遇到

比較像是單方面看到什麼，使用對象不限於人，也很常搭配東西或事情

I just came across Lily on the street.

遇到問題 / 困難 / 狀況

遇到問題 :come across / face / run into / encounter problems

遇到困難: run into / face / encounter difficulties

They encountered financial difficulties. 他們遇到了經濟困難

We came across a storm during the trip. 我們在旅途中遇到了一場暴風雨

We faced some technical issues. 我們遇到了一些技術問題

We ran into a problem. 我們遇到了一個問題

遇到麻煩: get into trouble / run into trouble

He got into trouble at school. 他在學校遇到了麻煩

突然遇到(困境): be confronted with

She was confronted with a moral dilemma. 她面臨著道德兩難

遇到天氣 / 情況 / 意外事件: get caught in / run into / encounter

We got caught in the rain.

We encountered a storm.

遇到車禍 / 意外: have / be in / run into an accident

He was in a car accident yesterday. 他昨天遭遇了車禍

遇到突發狀況: encounter / experience / deal with

遇到機會: come across / stumble upon / be presented with

I came across a great opportunity online. 我在網路上發現了一個很好的機會

stumble upon 偶然發現／偶然遇到: 語氣比較輕鬆、生活化，表示無意中碰到某人、某物、某機會

She stumbled upon a hidden café in a small alley. 她偶然發現一間藏在小巷裡的咖啡廳

We stumbled upon a great book at the second-hand store.我們在二手書店無意中找到一本好書

be presented with 被提供／遇到 機會或困難:

She was presented with a unique career opportunity abroad. 她獲得了一個難得的國外工作機會

He was presented with an unexpected offer he couldn't refuse. 他遇到了一個無法拒絕的突如其來的提議

遇到新概念 / 想法: encounter / come across / be introduced to
